Our History

In the year 1890, the Church of the Nazarene as a denomination was totally unknown in Texas. In the year 1908, the Dallas District Church of the Nazarene came into being at Pilot Point, Texas, as ordered by the first General Assembly. It reported at the end of that first year to the first District Assembly 952 members of the church and a total of $7,150 raised for all purposes.
